To monitor worker presence in work site, here is the scenario of a real example.
Softhard.io ‘s Edge Tag has built in BLE module and optional motion sensor. Equipments with Edge Tag installed will transmit data (iBeacon ID, time stamp etc.) to Base Station or Private Gateway in a certain period of time, say once per hour. Motion sensor could be used to trigger the Edge Tag to read the iBeacon ID when workers are approaching near the gate. and, will stop scanning the ID after some time out without further motion sensing. People will know who entered the site (iBeacon ID), when they enter (time stamp).
